haharx.. today was a great day y'all.. it was the lunchtime concert! haharx.. it was also the debut of the one and onli, THE RANDOM ACES.. haharx.. 1st shocker was dat we were promoted during morning assemly.. haharx.. it was damn obvious we were performing even if we wanted to hide it coz it was clear dat i and nadzir were the onli ppl with guitars in the hall.. haharx.. we were nervous even for myself who's been used to paying for gigs.. maybe coz its our debut and the pressure to create a reputation for our band.. the fact is dat 1st impressions do influence the kind of response one wud get from the audience.. haharx.. this chance cud either maka or break the band's reputation.. haharx.. so wen the bell rang for us to leave for break, we went to the clubhouse to jam and also have the last practice.. haharx..
wen it was the end of malay lesson, we all met at the 2nd floor guys toilet to change into our outfit.. haharx.. damn we really stood out from the rest.. haharx.. we got another shocker wen we reached the art gallery to set up the instruments and equipments, basically the foyer was flooded with ppl coz they was the cip fair held there.. haharx.. torchy got even more nervous coz it was much difficult as the frontman of the band coz ur the one engaging the audience.. haharx.. so we just set up the amps and mikes, not forgetting the drumset.. haharx.. did our soundcheck which was school of rock by jack black.. haharx.. den torchy intro us..

haharx.. yeah.. so boiboi went in with the intro to face down.. haharx.. he wasn't bad lah.. but still got alot to improve on.. den i did this sliding action.. haharx.. it was great though i'd like to find out wad others thought.. haharx.. yeah.. den i backed torchy in the vocals..
next was starlight.. wah! this one for me was like a breather and also a reliever coz its a damn relaxed, catchy but complicated song.. haharx.. backed torchy in the vocals at the bridge part..
den lastly was the crowd favourite.. which was Famous Last Words by my chemical romance.. haharx.. i started with palm-muted intro.. den was the main part of the song..
haharx.. den came the bridge wer i played the sclaing rhythm and nut played the shredding solo.. haharx. den i went emo.. haharx.. played the bridge n palm-mute on the floor.. haharx.. basically i was on my knees, leaning back.. haharx. den recovered to sing the chorus while torchy did the fading screamo part.. haharx.. den it all ended.. haharx.. so there it is..
haharx.. den went for bowling to train and also watch the yr1s do their trials.. haharx.. got this cute yr1 sia.. melissa.. cute to the max lah.. haharx.. yah..
